Forest management services

01

Development of a forest management plan

We prepare a detailed forest management plan, aimed at increasing the value of the forest, with a list of tasks to be carried out in both the short and long term. During the planning phase, data on the current state of the forest – tree size, composition and health, the presence of pests or diseases, and the growth potential of the forest are analysed.

02

Reforestation

To ensure sustainable forest management, we restore both artificial and natural forests. We professionally regenerate and maintain stands with the right composition and number of trees to ensure high-quality and productive stands in the future.

03

Tending of young stands

We offer tending of young stands in accordance with the requirements of the law. The main aim of tending is to make room for the growth of high-quality tree species, by creating space for sufficient sunlight and reducing competition for water and nutrients.

04

Location

In accordance with the requirements of the law, we provide professional marking of the boundary plans for submission to the State Forest Service, which will speed up the process of obtaining a harvesting licence and allow harvesting to start. During the location of felling areas, the boundaries of the felling area are marked, and the edge lengths and azimuths are measured.

05

Standing tree measurement

A certified appraiser will carry out a precise measurement of each tree in the forest to find out how many trees can be felled. Measuring the diameter of growing trees and dividing them into species, technical suitability categories and specific assortments will provide an accurate estimate of the volume of wood in the forest.

06

Forest inventory

We provide forest inventories by a certified appraiser, which are required for all forest owners before they start economic activities on their forest property. A forest inventory provides information on how and when you can benefit from your property.

07

Harvesting

We offer well-thought-out harvesting services in felling areas and forest properties, starting with felling and transporting trees to the timber yard, using modern harvesting machinery and professional experts. We prepare documentation and felling area and provide the sale of round timber, as well as the clean-up of the property after harvesting.

08

Thinning

We carry out thinning if the forest has developed a regrowth of young trees or a viable second floor. Thinning is carried out to reduce the density of the forest. At this stage, it is possible to generate income from the sale of chips.

09

Logistics and transport of wood

We provide any other services related to forest maintenance and final felling: timber transportation out of the forest, transport to the factory, sawmill or port with our modern fleet of vehicles.
