The accompanying document of the delivered timber cargo – the waybill – must specify the place of origin of timber, the number of the felling certificate, as well as the following must be attached to the waybill:
a copy of the felling certificate
chain of origin (contracts, etc.) to the forest owner
felling area control sheet for each felling certificate.
Felling area control sheets are required to identify the logger, since FSC requirements determine that it must carry out work safety inspections. These inspections will be carried out once a year by us – as the recipient of timber.
If you are a new supplier of Meža Enerģija (License Code FSC-C152940), you must sign the Supplier’s self-declaration confirming your consent to cooperate and provide information about the origin of trees.
Reminder! If there is an FSC statement on the waybill, then the accompanying documents are not required!
